Immigration conflict - moving into stage two

If you are concerned about the ugly display of anti-Gringo racism displayed by Latino demonstrators on May day, get prepared for a lot worse. We are only in the beginning of stage two in a three-stage classic decline of a nation into multi-ethnic civil war - similar to Bosnia, Kosovo, and France.

Stage one is de facto unlimited illegal immigration where the host nation enjoys the benefits of cheaper labor, lower consumer prices, and mild and mostly pleasant inter-cultural expression. In the absence of a system of citizen responsibility for each [illegal] immigrant hired (so the burden doesn't fall on the state) Stage one becomes a problem when illegal [immigrants] congregate in ghettos and later take over whole cities (Miami, Los Angeles, etc.). The host majority start becoming concerned when it is already too late - when they notice an increase in crime, welfare demands, burgeoning public service costs and racial resentment. What starts out as eager, mostly honest, poor [illegal] immigrants looking for work declines over several decades into a well-fed, resentful mob looking for an ever bigger share of worldly goods and marching to the drum beat of class warfare and racial resentment fomented by professional, and mostly Marxist, revolutionaries disguised as "activitists."

Stage two begins when the host nation attempts to begin the process of shutting down the flow of illegal immigration and restricting its access to welfare. It should have been done in the 1980s when it was more manageable, but wily politicians and key think-tanks - eager to promote a globalist agenda (hiding behind "multi-culturalism" and other euphemisms) - kept putting up road blocks for the few far-sighted Congressmen (Tom Tancreado, R-CO) and citizens who saw it coming and who wanted to enforce the law and secure the border.

That is where we are today: signs saying "all white Europeans are illegal," "Gringos Get Out," mixed with pictures of Che Guevarra, Latin America's ubiquitous revolutionary hero. It will only get worse as public officials placate this blatant show of provocation, racism and force. Remember all those hate crime laws perpetrated upon us recently? I don't see any arrests being made. I'm not in favor of these bias laws, precisely because they only intend to target the white minority all others are free to hate. If white Americans held up signs denigrating other races, you can imagine the outcry from the press. But, now, we are treated by the press with admiration and awe of the emerging "Latino Power."

Commentator Devvy Kidd, who isn't afraid to tell it like it is, described the scene in Sacramento this week, "There was a lot of anger displayed by all these Spanish speaking people. The hate for 'gringos' was so thick you could cut it with a knife ... Signs disparaging Americans were abundant. Signs with the same old propaganda about families, racism and illegal aliens deserve respect and jobs. Of course, the issue is not about legal immigration, but illegals who smuggle themselves into our country. This is just an attempt to market breaking the law in a favorable light by shifting the legal argument to kids, families and jobs."

Mexican Foreign minister (Marxist) Jorge Castaneda was even more explicit about the real agenda - distorting the difference between "benefits" and "right." As reported by Newswithviews.com, "Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda presented a list of demands regarding 70 million Mexicans living in the U.S., about 40 percent of them illegals, including the demand that America 'respect their human rights.'" In other words, he demands that we do not enforce our immigration laws. Castaneda vowed to defend Mexicans "without legal papers and demanded that America give them the education and health benefits they deserve." Castaneda ordered Mexican consulates to provide a free legal defense to Mexicans prosecuted in the U.S. or subjected to deportation proceedings." These kinds of statements and actions constitute blatant interference in the internal affairs of a foreign nation.

Stage three is civil war and outright conflict. We're a long way off, but it too will someday come. Europe is just entering Stage three as its cash-strapped governments are forced to shut down much of the immigration and welfare spigot - but only for financial reasons, not on principle. Anyone who attempts to uphold Western culture is denigrated as a fascist and right-wing fanatic....

The public wants guarantees and benefits - bread - not a free market (which penalizes low true worth). Socialism is attractive to the unthinking precisely because it tells the lie that all "workers are equal" and therefore everyone should get nearly equal compensation (usually higher than what the free market would grant). Socialism and egalitarian ideas also denigrate judgments and distinctions - the very engine of critical thought that makes the free market work. People don't want to be judged; they want protection. It is clearly a racket.

Europe was always further down the socialist path than the US. Sadly, we are catching up quickly. In the growing process of corrupting the original constitutional restrictions (already gone) against federal handout powers, we are facing the inevitable competition for control of the legislative (read: handout generating) process when a constitutionally limited Republic degenerates into a full blown democratic welfare state. The illegal immigration trickle becomes a flood and the trough-feeders begin to outnumber the honest workers. Actually, illegals become trough-feeders once they are here - the fault of the California Supreme Court, which overturned citizen ballot initiatives denying illegal immigrants welfare benefits and schooling. The ruling became a quasi-legal precedent that other states foolishly went along with.

In Los Angeles, nearly one-quarter of students were absent on Monday. What is particularly disturbing is that the majority of the young Latinos skipping school to join these demonstrations are products of the class warfare and Leftist resentment propaganda they learn right here in American government schools.... Once students, like illegal immigrants, get the picture that there will be no enforcement of the law, it is very difficult to cap the resulting lawlessness.

IS THERE ANY HOPE?

Devvy Kidd finished her commentary on the futility of trying to get Republican legislators and leaders to demand concerted action: "The bombastic gas on the cable networks the day of this massive, in-your-face protest by illegals was mostly the same, worn out themes: 'The Republicans need to win back the favor of Latino voters or they will lose control of Congress.' So, this isn't about the law, it's about the party and power. The Republicans have had control of Congress since January 1995 and have done NOTHING to stop this invasion ... The Democrats are trying to get as much political mileage out of this invasion as possible, but like the Republicans, they have sat around on their well padded backsides and done nothing for decades.

"While at the capitol, I visited the offices of Assemblymen Neillo, Haynes and Mountjoy as well as state senators Ortiz and McClintock ... Neillo is my assemblyman ... His staffer is a snotty, arrogant pup who always treats me like he can't be bothered. On Monday I asked him what Neillo was doing about the lawlessness right outside his window? The response was the Republicans have introduced tons of bills to address the illegals in this state, but they can't get them out of the Democrat controlled committees. It is true that the California State Senate is run by rabid, pro-Mexicans who don't even attempt to hide their loyalty to Mexico and illegals. They are a total disgrace."

Her last comment is a classic: "Immigrants deserve rights, too. This isn't about legal immigrants; it's about illegal aliens. It's about the law." The Bush administration has made a tiny token move to charge a couple of small employers with hiring illegals. But it's obvious that this is only meant to deflect the widespread criticism that Bush is not enforcing the law. He hasn't touched any of the politically connected food and agricultural giants like Tyson's foods. Sadly, the law will soon be changed to grant a second amnesty - however it is phrased (you can bet it won't be labeled an "amnesty"). Thus, not only are we moving into Stage two conflict, we are continuing to feed the Stage one problem fire by not shutting down the flow of fuel.

Our leaders who keep pushing for amnesty are not stupid. They know where this is heading, and it's not for the political purpose of buying Latino votes, alone. The ultimate agenda is to create conflict that will eventually demand a Hegelian* "solution" that American's will regret: regional government, as part of a New World Order. Look no further than the FTAA proposal waiting in the wings, which is all about regional control and loss of national sovereignty - "Free Trade" is only the bait.

WILL THEY GO TOO FAR?

In promoting this pro-immigration agenda, government, media, and radical organizers may be going too far. Too big a show of support will almost certainly galvanize the opposition to the Bush amnesty legislation. There was some violence in both the LA and Seattle demonstrations, and agent provocateurs will certainly expand their work as the movement builds....

* The Hegelian dialectical method changed the format for deductive reasoning into one in which truth is obtained by pitting truth against a falsehood which leads to a false truth. For example: If (A) my idea of freedom conflicts with (B) your idea of freedom then (C) neither of us can be free until everyone agrees to be a slave.
