While mass immigration is driving US population to double this century, human numbers overall are growing tremendously. World population has exceeded a staggering 7 billion people and is projected to continue to grow to 10 billion to 11 billion people.

Population growth in less developed countries  results in pressure for those countries to export their surplus population to industrialized countries such as the United States.

Actress Alexandra Paul has produced a video on overpopulation that is very well done. It's not overstated, yet emphasizes that we can not keep growing our numbers on a finite planet.
