Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents from the Tucson Station apprehended five men approximately 12 miles south of Arivaca, Arizona, on Saturday evening for illegally entering the United States.

During processing, agents identified one of the men, Jorge Antonio Avila-Rodas, a 34-year-old Honduran national, to be an MS-13 gang member. Records show he has felony convictions for burglary in the first and second degree in Oregon, and for immigration violations.

Avila now faces federal criminal charges for re-entry of a felon.
