EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. -- A drug-trafficking suspect ran into a sewage pond while trying to escape arrest, Eagle County authorities said. Ruben Rivera-Ortiz, 24, of Edwards, was arrested July 19 ...

He was ordered out of the pond at gunpoint and taken into custody, sheriff's officials said.

 Ortiz is also accused of illegally being in the United States, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed an immigration hold on the man, sheriff's officials said.
