The Colorado Secure and Verifiable Identity Document Act
 
The Colorado Secure and Verifiable Identity Document Act (HB-1224) now makes illegal the accepting of the Mexican matricula consular ID card and other "unsecured" IDs! The bill was signed into law on May 22, 2003.

Tuition for illegal aliens
 
Update, May 2, 2003: A bill to give children of illegal aliens in-state tuition fortunately has been killed in Colorado House committee. See related article.
 
 
Local government initiatives
 
During 2000 and 2001 CAIR activists met with city and county governments across the state to gain support for resolutions at the local government level which would support sustainability and U.S. population stabilization. Both the City of Aspen and Pitkin County have passed versions of these resolutions:
