The Great metamorphosis of Senator Wayne Allard’s website

(Senator Allard's website is owned by the People of the United States):

Senator Wayne Allard R-CO website

Senator Wayne Allard, your senator, recently criticized Rep. Tom Tancredo as being an extremist on immigration. Now we know why. It would appear senator Allard is doing the bidding of the Mexican government and the Mexican-flag-waiving illegal alien demonstrators.

On April 30, 2006, our elected public servant responded to hundreds of irate calls from his bosses (the sovereign people of Colorado) and removed the Mexican flag from the Peoples' website.

But why is part of his website still in a foreign language? Illegal aliens who speak Spanish are not allowed to vote in Colorado. Contact Senator Allard (email) and ask him why he is pandering to foreign non-voters.

Congressman Tom Tancredo challenges Congress

Tom Tancredo U.S. House of Representatives - June 9, 2003 - In a stunning Special Order speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Tom Tancredo challenged the Congress to introduce a bill to open U.S. borders to anyone and everyone. He will vote against it, but there should be a public vote on what Congress is doing to our nation. Listen to this great speech! (See complete transcript).

Congressman Tom Tancredo introduces immigration moratorium bill

Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) introduced a bill in February, 2003 to reduce legal immigration from over one million a year to approximately 300,000 per year for five years. H.R. 946, the Mass Immigration Reduction Act of 2003, would enact a five-year moratorium on many categories of immigration, including extended adult relatives, and would significantly decrease the number of skilled workers and refugees. It also would eliminate the visa waiver program. As a comprehensive bill, it will also increase pressure against illegal alien amnesty bills now working their way through Congress.

This bill deserves your full support. See the article The Tancredo Moratorium Bill for more information.

Rep. Tom Tancredo, Immigration Reform Caucus Introduce Secure I.D. Legislation

U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO), Chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus, and several caucus members introduced legislation during a press conference on Capitol Hill today to ensure the security and validity of identification cards accepted by the federal government. [H.R. 502].

"This issue is extremely important for reasons of national security, as well as providing an obstacle to those who are attempting to obtain locally what they could not get from the Congress," said Tancredo. "Specifically, I am referring to efforts by the Mexican government to use their Consular offices in the United States as a distribution point for a card known as the Matricula Consular. The Consular officials then go out and lobby state and local governments to accept these cards. Documents like the Matricula Consular, which are issued to Mexican nationals by the Mexican government, should not be accepted as proof of identification by state, local or federal agencies."

Social Security giveaway to illegal aliens!

Under direction from the Bush administration, the State Department and the Social Security Administration are considering a Totalization Agreement, in which 345 billion dollars in Social Security benefits would be granted to illegal migrants from Mexico.

This would be a significant difference from the 20 or so agreements that are already in place between the United States and other countries because under those agreements, only those people legally residing and working in the United States are eligible to receive Social Security benefits.

While the State Department must submit the Totalization proposal to Congress, the proposal doesn't have to be approved by Congress. Unless Congress votes it down, the proposal could become law.

2002 election analysis

The evidence from the 2002 elections shows that support for mass immigration and rewarding illegal immigration is not a position that energizes and rallies Hispanic voters to either political party. Hispanic voters are far more concerned about other issues that affect their daily lives.

Conversely, support for excessive and poorly-controlled immigration and rewarding illegal immigration is a position that engenders strong opposition from other segments of the electorate, who see it as a threat to their physical security, a drain on their tax resources, and a detriment to their way of life.

In short, there is no evidence that even one close race was determined by significant shifts of Hispanic voters towards a candidate who favored amnesty or mass immigration.

Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus

Colorado U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO, 6th District) is chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus. The Immigration Reform Caucus was established to review current immigration policy, propose new immigration policies and provide a forum in Congress for addressing the positive and negative consequences of our immigration policies.

"Perhaps the White House is finally getting the message," said Tancredo. "It's about time they realize that the people of this country justifiably feel that the U.S. border is a sieve. It poses a real threat to our security and ignoring this fact represents the most egregious evidence that the federal government is shirking its responsibility to the people of this nation."

According to the Current Population Survey conducted in March 2000 by the U.S. Census Bureau, there are 28.4 million immigrants living in the United States. This is the largest number of immigrants ever recorded in the nation's history. It represents an increase of 43 percent just since 1990. Immigrants now account for 10.4 percent of all residents - the highest percentage in 70 years. Of greater concern is the documented estimate that approximately one million legal and 700,000 illegal immigrants now settle in the United States each year.

The Caucus seeks to:
• Improve interior enforcement and border control,
• Divide the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) into two separate agencies, one for improved immigration enforcement and one for improved services,
• Investigate allegations that the INS is not electronically connected to all of its U.S. field offices.

The Caucus will:
• Focus on the explosive growth of legal immigration.
• Promote legislation to reduce the overall number of immigrants allowed into the country each year by limiting some of the admission categories.
• Revisit recommendations of the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform (the Jordan Commission) and review reforms included in Title V (Reform of Legal Immigration Section) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 as reported by the House Judiciary Committee in 1996.

Other Colorado members include:
• U.S. Representative Joel Hefley (R-CO, 5th District)
• U.S. Representative Bob Schaffer (R-CO, 4th District)

Illegal aliens can be held after serving time

The Supreme Court on April 29, 2003 upheld the government's authority to jail immigrants [illegal aliens] who have completed sentences for serious crimes, pending their swift deportation. See article.

Suggestions For The Republican Survey

The Republican Party in its recent survey, virtually ignores border security and out-of-control immigration. See Phyllis Schlafly's 19 suggestions for the Republican Survey.
