The angry, often violent, organized protests that have accompanied Donald Trump’s rallies in states holding Republican primaries are a preview of the kind of behavior likely in store for us at both the Republican and Democratic conventions in July.

Two recent articles, taken together, elucidate the problems our nation faces after nearly eight years of deliberate transformative government under the Obama administration. The articles are:
A band of exasperated Republicans — including 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney, a handful of veteran consultants and members of the conservative intelligentsia — is actively plotting to draft an independent presidential candidate who could keep Donald Trump from the White House.
... I keep coming back to the curious fact that so many Bernie Sanders voters (almost half in West Virginia) say they will vote for Trump if Bernie doesn’t get the nomination. This can’t be because they think Trump is a socialist. And I doubt the dislike of Hillary sufficiently explains it either.
