Scarcity of appointment times and long waits should be a thing of the past for undocumented Garfield County residents seeking to obtain a Colorado driver’s license under a six-year-old state program.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, Colorado residents who are unable to demonstrate lawful presence in the United States will be able to use a Social Security number to obtain a driver's license, instruction permit or identification card and renew their driver's license online.
