The Cities Should Belong to Us

The latest big news we’re seeing right now is the decision by the Trump administration to curtail home rule for Washington DC and refederalise aspects of the city’s governance, especially those having to with law enforcement. This move was provoked by the prevailing insouciance towards crime in the capital that has been shown by the left-wing Democratic city leadership...

Of course, this has provoked a vigourous response from the Left, with BLM and antifa black bloc “protestors” coming out in full force to try to prevent police from making arrests. More generally, left-wing pundits have decried the “fascism” inherent in preventing violent criminals from preying upon normal people... Other cities have seen the same type of phenomena take place - violent crime is excused and covered up by progressive Left politicians while regular (and nearly always White) people continue to be victimised with no relief provided...

The Civil Rights Act and its ensuing interpretations essentially robbed White Americans of their freedom of association, and the pursuant desegregation and the outlawing of “redlining” forced Whites to either move to the suburbs or else deal with crime rate-enhancing ethnic minorities...

Much the same thing is going on in Europe, as well, where e.g. the British police will now arrest Britons for social media posts while turning a blind eye to Pakistani human trafficking gangs who operate multi-decadal sexual exploitation rings using underage British girls... Every move the Left makes seems designed to destroy whatever social cohesion remains in our nations, especially in our cities...

The important thing to remember about all of this is that it was not accidental...

Historically, cities have been the centres of power, culture, learning, and community. They’ve not always been the dysfunctional IQ shredders that they’ve become in recent decades...

The cities are currently centres of progressive Left power... Ultimately, the Right will need to drop its current fixation with “losing gracefully” and come to grips with the need to use the power it has to take the power it needs to restore sanity to this country...
