In a remarkable television broadcast on December 15, 2022, Tucker Carlson made an explosive charge. He pointed out that, contrary to law, the White House was refusing to release thousands of pages of documents about the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Carlson said that these documents proved CIA involvement in the assassination and that someone within the government who had looked at these documents made a direct statement to this effect.

Here is what Carlson said: “Not long after Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald on camera in the basement of Dallas police headquarters, a lot of Americans started to have some questions about the Kennedy assassination. It was, you’d have to admit, a pretty extraordinary sequence of events. A lone gunman murders the president of the United States. And then, less than 48 hours later, that lone gunman is himself murdered by another lone gunman....

In 1976, long forgotten, the House of Representatives impaneled a special committee to reinvestigate the JFK assassination. Their bipartisan conclusion? Jack Kennedy was almost certainly murdered as the result of a conspiracy. But the question is a conspiracy by whom? Well, the obvious suspect would be the CIA. Why else would the agency withhold critical evidence from investigators? Is there a benign explanation for that, for maintaining this level of secrecy for this many years? Not that we’re aware of. And it is illegal.

In 1992, Congress passed the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act. That act mandated full disclosure of all documents by 2017, 54 years after JFK was killed. The last administration promised to comply fully with that law. But under intense pressure from CIA Director Mike Pompeo, withheld, in the end, thousands of pages of CIA documents.

Today, this afternoon, the Biden administration did exactly the same thing. That would be thousands of pages of documents after nearly 60 years, after the death of every single person involved. But we still can’t see them. Clearly, it’s not to protect any person. They’re all dead. It’s to protect an institution....

If the CIA was involved, the obvious next question is why? Why did they want JFK eliminated? The best answer has been provided by Professor Jim Douglass in his book JFK and the Unspeakable. In brief, JFK didn’t trust the CIA and planned to dismantle it. For that reason, the CIA got rid of him before he could do it.

I interviewed Douglass over a decade ago, and her are some of the things he told me:

“Now, Jim, you were close to Thomas Merton, influenced by Thomas Merton, and part of this title comes from Merton. Would you explain that to us?...

Isn’t it time the cover-up ended? Let’s do everything we can to release the missing documents and then get rid of the evil, war-mongering CIA. But let’s not stop there. Let’s get rid of the NSA, the FBI and the other agencies that are terrorizing and spying on the American people.

A Major Shift in the JFK Assassination, by Jacob G. Hornberger, 6 January 2023:

... Biden’s recent decision to permit the CIA to continue keeping its 59-year-old records relating to the Kennedy assassination secret from the American people has brought about a public backlash that has not been seen since the enactment of the JFK Records Act in 1992. This major shift is a tremendously positive development in the JFK assassination....

The libertarian Reason magazine published an article which, while refraining from taking a position on whether the assassination was, in fact, a national-security-state regime-change operation, called for the release of the CIA’s long-secret assassination-related records...

There is no doubt that the records that the CIA continues to steadfastly keep secret have nothing to do with “national security,” no matter what definition one puts on that nebulous, meaningless term. But in the final analysis, the real issue is not what’s in those secret records, but rather that the CIA and the Pentagon did, in fact, orchestrate the assassination of a U.S. president, just as they orchestrated the assassination of foreign leaders who they felt posed a grave threat to “national security.” ...

As far as I’m concerned, the CIA should never have come into existence. As I state in my most recent book on the JFK assassination, An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story, which I consider the best work I’ve done in the 33-year history of The Future of Freedom Foundation, once the CIA’s evil program known as MKULTRA came to light, the CIA should have been abolished at that point.

JFK’s Different Direction for America Got Him Killed, by Jacob G. Hornberger, The Future of Freedom Foundation, Lou Rockwell, 19 January 2023:

... The reason for all this hatred and fear of Russia was that Russia was controlled by a communist regime. The belief was that there was an international communist conspiracy to take over the world, especially the United States — a conspiracy that was supposedly based in Moscow. To question this notion was akin to heresy among the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA, which are the principal parts of the national-security establishment.

What makes John F. Kennedy’s short tenure as president so remarkable is that he dared to challenge this deep anti-Russia paradigm for America. Not surprisingly, Kennedy’s challenge of the existing paradigm infuriated the national-security establishment. More important, they considered it to be a grave threat to “national security,” a threat that had to be dealt with.

By the time that Kennedy openly expressed his opposition to the anti-Russia paradigm and his determination to move America in a different direction, he was already embroiled in an all-out war with the national-security establishment....

And then Kennedy committed the cardinal sin of questioning the Cold War, which was the guiding star for the national-security establishment and its ever-growing army of voracious “defense” contractors who were feeding at the public trough....

In the eyes of the national-security establishment, Kennedy had become a grave threat to “national security.” He had to be dealt with if America was to be saved. That happened on November 22, 1963. The national-security establishment’s vision for America — “a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war” — prevailed over Kennedy’s vision for America, which is why we are where we are today.

How Troublesome Presidents Are Disposed Of, by Paul Craig Roberts, ZeroHedge, 23 January 2023:

Tucker Carlson provides an excellent 12 minute report about the CIA’s removal of President Kennedy and President Nixon [starts at 6:30 in the following video, but the entire video is worth watching].

I recommend that you watch it 2 or 3 times until it sinks in and forward it to all of your friends and relatives. There is nowhere else; you can get so much solid and important information in 12 minutes....

President John F. Kennedy was murdered by the CIA and US Joint Chiefs of Staff once he realized that the government he headed was not the real government. His predecessor President Eisenhower, a 5-star general, warned about the threat to democratic government posed by the military/industrial complex. President Kennedy intended to do something about it while the president still had some power, but he was struck down before he could do more than fire CIA Director Allen Dulles and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Lyman Lemnitzer....

President Nixon was the best informed and best respected abroad president of any in US history. He kept in touch with foreign leaders and was well informed about historical and current events. But he also, like Kennedy and Trump, over estimated the power of the president....

The assassination of President Kennedy was so obviously an in-house murder, covered up by the CIA’s media whores and the Warren Commission, that the CIA dared not murder a second president. Instead, the CIA saw that one of its operatives was placed as a journalist at the Washington Post, a long-time CIA asset, never a newspaper, to head the “Watergate” investigation of President Nixon which was used to drive him from office despite Nixon being reelected by the largest margin in US history....

When my generation passes, there will be no one alive who knows what America once was.
