The December 13, 2012 article CAIR-Michigan Goes After the U.S. Constitution reports that:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has just put out an Action Alert that takes direct aim at the Constitution of the United States.

Now at this point, one might ask how Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform (CAIRCO) is related to a radical islamic organization known as CAIR? We are not related in any manner whatsoever. For years, we were referred to by our acronym, CAIR. But an acronym does not signal affiliation. Indeed, we aren't related to Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), either.

The article goes on to report:

At issue is the Michigan state legislature’s House Bill No. 4769, which looks likely to pass in coming days. Quite simply, that bill states that no foreign law may take precedence over American law or Michigan state law in a Michigan court room...

Seems pretty straightforward and entirely in keeping with Article VI of the U.S. Constitution, which states:

“This Constitution and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby…”

CAIR (a Muslim Brotherhood front group) points to the answer in its own words... It would seem that CAIR is saying that Islam is not just a religion, but actually a legal system (hint: it’s called “sharia.”)...

The CAIR Action Alert against Michigan’s pending legislation perhaps unintentionally illustrates this in a most instructive way. The reason the Muslim Brotherhood and all other sharia-adherent Muslims cannot accept that sharia provisions that conflict with U.S. law be superseded by Constitutional law in American courts is precisely the notion that Islamic law must dominate all other laws on earth in every respect...

The Michigan attack is but one of many instances of conflict between radical shariah law and United States law.

The report Shariah Law and American State Courts: An Assessment of State Appellate Court Cases documents 50 cases in 23 states involving a conflict of law between sharia and American state law. It should be noted that sharia-based legal conventions or decisions from 16 foreign countries have been brought to bear in these cases.

Consequences of the Cult of Multiculturalism

The ever so popular Cult of Multiculturalism to which the radical left and the mainstream media (MSM) subscribe represents more than just superficial challenges to the integrity of the United States. Not only does multiculturalism represent the fragmentation of a once-cohesive society, but it manifests a very real attack against our legal structure.

Teddy Roosevelt got it right when he said in 1915:

"There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation of all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."
