The Washington Post reports that a tsunami of Third World migration is disenfranchising Americans and turning the once-red state of Virginia blue...

While George W. Bush won the Old Dominion state in 2000 and 2004, Barack Obama took it in 2008 and 2012. From 1992 to 2012, in Northern Virginia alone, the population rose from 1.5 million to 2.2 million.

“What is clear is that the demographics of the state have shifted dramatically in the space of a single decade, with populations of educated, high-income professionals as well as immigrants and other minorities — all voters who tend to choose Democrats — growing in urban areas. These shifts reflect national trends, Pew research shows,” the Post reports...

In 1970, only one in 100 residents in Virginia was foreign-born. Now, the number is one in nine. As Breitbart News has noted: “A middle-aged person living in parts of Virginia today will have witnessed more demographic change in the span of her life than many societies have experienced in millennia.” Furthermore, she did not vote or ask for such extreme changes.

The American Immigration Council cheered for the “New Americans” in Virginia, showing how the sheer number foreign nationals and their descendants will transform the state where Thomas Jefferson is buried:

  • “The foreign-born share of Virginia’s population rose from 5.0 percent in 1990, to 8.1 percent in 2000, to 11.5 percent in 2013, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Virginia was home to 948,963 immigrants in 2013, which is nearly the total population of San Jose, California.
  • 50.3 percent of immigrants (or 477,236 people) in Virginia were naturalized U.S. citizens in 2013—meaning that they are eligible to vote.
  • Unauthorized immigrants comprised roughly 3.5 percent of the state’s population (or 275,000 people) in 2012, according to a report by the Pew Hispanic Center.
  • 10.8 percent (or 456,250) of all registered voters in Virginia are “New Americans”—naturalized citizens or the U.S.-born children of immigrants who were raised during the current era of immigration from Latin America and Asia which began in 1965—according to an analysis of 2012 Census Bureau data by the American Immigration Council.
  • The Latino share of Virginia’s population grew from 2.6 percent in 1990, to 4.7 percent in 2000, to 8.6 percent (or 707,962 people) in 2013. The Asian share of the population grew from 2.5 percent in 1990, to 3.7 percent in 2000, to 5.9 percent (or 484,497 people) in 2013, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
  • Latinos comprised 2.7 percent (or 103,000,000) of Virginia voters in the 2012 elections, and Asians 3.1 percent (or 118,000), according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
  • In Virginia, 88.3 percent of children with immigrant parents were U.S. citizens in 2009, according to data from the Urban Institute.
  • In 2009, 88.4 percent of children in Asian families in Virginia were U.S. citizens, as were 90.7 percent of children in Latino families.”...

As the 2014 report reveals, Latino and Asian immigrants strongly favor liberal policies such as affirmative action, Obamacare, and financial bailouts for big banks. The cultural and patriotic outlook is even more dismal: Only 37 percent of the foreign-born believe the Constitution is a higher authority than international law, compared to 67 percent of the native-born, with 34 percent saying they weren’t sure...
