Colorado residents who aren't vaccinated can expect to see their phones light up next week with an unfamiliar number that does not, for once, belong to a robocaller.

Instead, it will be someone reaching out on behalf of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to provide information about COVID-19 vaccination, help with scheduling an appointment and answer questions about the vaccines.

The effort begins on Monday, June 21....

CDPHE will also send texts and emails to people between 18 and 29 years old who may be overdue for their second vaccine shot, according to the release....

The reminders will be sent in English and Spanish, the release said....

CAIRCO notes

This clearly raises privacy issues and a number of questions:

Why does the State have access to your medical records?

Why is the State allowed to track your medical history?

Is this a precursor down the slippery slope of universal tracking?

Who is the State releasing your medical records to in order to make the robo calls?

Why is the State becoming involved in your personal medical decisions?

Why is the State so interested in pushing an experimental gene therapy vaccine?

And for that matter, why is the State not robo calling illegal aliens and telling them to return to their home countries to reunited with their families?
