Victims of YouTube's new censorship

Nazi book burningFree speech is so passé. It was a key principle upon which our Republic was founded. As Evelyn Beatrice Hall paraphrased of Voltaire:

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Now it's not just the leftist Antifa fascists who actively oppose free speech. Leftist corporate internet conglomerates are actively engaged in censoring free speech on the internet.

In Nazi Germany, a popular sport of leftist fascists was book burning. Today it's video burning.

In my quest to find the first instances of outright Google censorship, these instances stood out:

Pamela Geller writes in the August 28, 2017 article YouTube Blocks Pamela Geller From Posting Videos:

"I have been posting videos to YouTube since 2006 and now, for the first time, I am banned for two weeks. It’s non-stop now – Facebook blocks and bans, Google AdSense permanent disabling my account, Paypal block (a decision that was reversed thanks to you good folks), and YouTube demonetizing my videos. But this is a first. And it’s not just the social media giants – internet filters are banning the site as well."

In the August 28, 2017 American Renaissance article, Jared Taylor asks: Am I the First Victim of YouTube’s New Censorship?:

Jared Taylor presentationYouTube has just begun its widely reported campaign against “extremist” videos, and one of mine may have been the very first to be quarantined. In a new strategy that falls short of outright removal—YouTube does that, too—the company punishes “borderline” videos by making them unsearchable, disabling comments or embedding, and never suggesting them to viewers. The only way to get to them is through a direct link posted on a different website. Then you are warned that the video “has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.” YouTube also disables view counts and up- or down-votes, so you have no idea how widely seen or favorably received the video has been...

It is a terrible precedent when a huge company like YouTube—with the “help” of groups such as the No Hate Speech Movement and the Anti-Defamation League—starts deciding which facts to promote and which to suppress. My video is a perfect example of what should be welcome in “the market place of ideas.” If I’m wrong, refute me. YouTube doesn’t see it that way. It gave my video the leper treatment because it doesn’t want dissent on the subject of race and IQ. Is this the kind of society we want?

I have been gratified by the number of people who, like me, deplore YouTube’s attempt at to be the gate-keeper of ideas. Julian Assange—who knows a thing or two about censorship—called the suppression of my video “a clear attempt at social engineering.”

That begs the question: what in the world is in the video that mandates censorship? I watched the video, anticipating some blithering idiot espousing racism. Instead, the video turned out to be a pretty boring, intellectual discussion of intelligence factors in racial disparity. This deserves censorship?

You can view the video and decide for yourself. Here is the direct link to the 16 minute video: Race Differences in Intelligence. It also has been placed on BitchuteRace Differences in Intelligence

This article presents a solid case for regulation of monopolistic corporations: The case for regulating tech giants, by Sean Harshey, World Net Daily, August 19, 2017. It deserves serious consideration.

Leftists and Media Cheer as Mega-Corporations Strip Away Free Speech Rights, by John Nolte, Breitbart, August 29, 2017:

... there is the issue of how those who call themselves progressive and liberals cheer on corporations that have seized control of how Americans communicate and how those corporations have used that control to censor us...

Moreover, there actually is a conspiracy afoot…

The Silicon Valley robber barons and the media are scheming to continue to expand the definitions of hate speech and the alt-right to include opinions and people they do not like. For example, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is the tip of this spear, an organization the establishment media takes seriously for only one cynical reason — because it gives them the cover they so desire to label those of us who do not hold the “correct” views on immigration, gay marriage, affirmative action and the welfare state, as part of the neo-Nazi brotherhood. And by extension, this makes the traditional conservatives and Christians part of the neo-Nazi brotherhood...

You think I have any love for white supremacists like the KKK? Or Marxist supremacists like Antifa? Or the black supremacists in Black Lives Matter? Or the Hispanic supremacists in La Raza [THE RACE]? Or the Islamic supremacists in CAIR? Or the cultural supremacists at CNN? They are all sides of a single coin. But they all should enjoy the right to spew their toxic beliefs.

The left used to understand that the only way to secure all of our speech was to defend the vilest of speech...
