City streets were closed. Police lined the route. A youth choir performed a mash-up of the U.S. National Anthem and the Nashid al-Imamah — a hymn venerating the Imam as God’s chosen guide.
The symbolism was unmistakable: A fusion of American patriotism with Islamic devotion – a public pledge of cultural submission masquerading as “interfaith unity.”..
