The civil trial of Coomer v Lindell et al. began this week in federal court in Colorado...

Yesterday was jury selection.  Jurors were asked a myriad of questions about whether or not they knew who Mike Lindell was and whether they’ve heard about this trial in the media.  They asked whether they believed President Donald Trump’s elections (plural) were rigged and if agree with the term “The Big Lie” in reference to whether or not the 2020 election was rigged...

Ultimately, Lindell’s defense said that they won’t present evidence that the 2020 election was rigged because it only matters that he believed what he said was true.  If he’s found liable for these allegations, the First Amendment is at stake and that whatever the jurors decide will determine whether or not people are willing to speak up for what they believe in in the future...
