How the Democrat party subverts honest elections

I just read the eye-opening article, Coloradans Must Not Let Democrats Decide Our Republican Primary, by Heidi Ganahl, Townhall, 28 June 2022. (Here is an excerpt.)

In the article, Ganahl describes how "Polis is so afraid of his real record that the political non-profit he started has dropped $3 million into Colorado’s Republican primary, in an attempt to pick his opponent in his upcoming re-election bid this fall."

In other words, Democrat Polis is funneling money into the Republican primary in order to sway voters away from voting for Republican Heidi Ganahl, who is the solid challenger to Democrat oligarchic reign in Colorado.

Incidentally, according to U.S. federal election law, straw donations (political contributions made to candidates under another name) are illegal under 52 U.S.C. § 30122. I guess Democrats found a way to circumvent this law and are essentially trying to rig the Republican primary.

How did the Democrat oligarchy become established in Colorado's political system? They bought it in 2008.

This stunning transformation of Colorado politics is thoroughly explained in the book, The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado (and Why Republicans Everywhere Should Care), by Adam Schrager and Rob Witwer (2010).

The book describes how progressive billionaires funded a web of purportedly "grassroots" activist organizations. This well-funded political machine facilitated the Democrat takeover of Colorado, a formerly solid Republican conservative state.

Subverting elections seems to be rather common for Democrats these days: Dem Candidate For U.S. Senate in S.C. Calls for ‘Secret Sleepers’ to run as Republicans, and For Straw Donations in Leaked Call, American Greatness, 27 June 2022.

According to the Ganahl website, Polis has already spent $5,900,000 to buy your vote this November. In light of the big-money interests attempting to subvert the Republican primary, I say: good luck, Heidi!

Update: Heidi Ganahl tops Greg Lopez to win GOP nomination for Colorado governor, Axios, 29 June 2022.

In 2008, Democrat House Organ Politico ran a story about the Obama campaign, calling the Secretaries of State the “Democrat firewall.”

In anticipation of a photo-finish presidential election, Democrats have built an administrative firewall designed to protect their electoral interests in five of the most important battleground states.

The bulwark consists of control of secretary of state offices in five key states — Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico and Ohio — where the difference between victory and defeat in the 2004 presidential election was no more than 120,000 votes in any one of them.

With a Democrat now in charge of the offices, which oversee and administer their state’s elections, the party is better positioned than in the previous elections to advance traditional Democratic interests —such as increasing voter registration and boosting turnout — rather than Republican priorities such as stamping out voter fraud.

Perhaps more important, in those five states Democrats are now in a more advantageous position when it comes to the interpretation and administration of election law...
