It shows that the European-descended population of the globe has fallen from 30.1% in 1950 to 12.2% today, and is predicted to collapse to just 5.8% in 2100. The clock It draws on the best available demographic evidence to reconstruct the European-descended share of each population across time.
Pier stated that "Demographic composition is a matter of public interest, not a protected secret. We deserve to know what time it is."
